Elena Kagiali was honored as the SAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week for a consecutive time Monday when the conference office announced the weekly awards from play spanning Oct. 13-19.
The Piraeus, Greece, native locked up the award with her second 30-kill performance of the season in a four-set match at Oklahoma City. She remains the only player in the SAC to have 30 kills in a match this season.
During Saturday's game, Kagiali racked up those 30 kills against just three errors on 62 swings – making for an incredibly efficient hitting percentage of .435. She also contributed 17 digs, four blocks and an ace, accounting for 33.0 points in the hard-fought defeat.
Furthermore, Kagiali led the Aggies to a win over Southwestern Christian on Friday with 16 kills at a .263 clip, 15 digs, three aces and four blocks.
The redshirt senior's weekend totals ended up at 46 kills on an efficient 100 attacks with 44 receptions, 32 digs, four aces, eight blocks and 54.0 points.
Kagiali is tied for the conference lead in kills (326) and kills per set (3.75) in 2025, while she is first in total points (373.5) on the year.
Kagiali and the Aggies look to solidify their spot among the top four in the SAC standings this weekend at home, beginning with Central Christian on Friday.
