Game 1: York 15, OPSU 1
The Aggies struggled in the opening game as York's offense proved dominant. Despite a strong effort, OPSU could not generate much run support, tallying just five hits in the contest. Kobe Morgan scored the lone run for the Aggies in the third inning after reaching on a walk and advancing on a stolen base. Xavier Garcia struck out swinging, but an errant throw allowed Morgan to cross the plate.
Alejandro Hernandez led the Aggies offensively with a double. At the same time, Isaiah Halton, Ryota Kusumoto, Devin Lopez, and Hernandez recorded a hit.
Colby Diduch (1-1) took the loss on the mound, allowing six runs (four earned) in 2.1 innings pitched with five strikeouts. Leandro Tamaki, Tomas Medina, and Joseph Hext also saw action in relief.
Game 2: OPSU 7, York 3
The Aggies responded in game two with a well-rounded performance, securing a 7-3 win to split the series. Aggies jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Kobe Morgan drew a bases-loaded walk to score Halton. Alejandro Hernandez then delivered a clutch three-RBI double to push the Aggies ahead 4-0.
York closed the gap in the third inning. Ryota Kusumoto drove in a run with an RBI single, and a throwing error allowed another run to score, making it 6-3. The Aggies added an insurance run on Morgan's RBI groundout in the sixth.
Kusumoto had a stellar game, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI. Halton also had a strong showing, with two hits and two runs.
On the mound, Braden Greene (1-0) earned his first collegiate win, pitching 5.1 innings while allowing three earned runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts. Zach Mayhew and Juan Javier combined to close the game, holding York scoreless in the final innings.

The Aggies will look to build on their momentum as they continue their season next weekend at home against Peru State. The first game will be at 12:00 PM, and game two will be at 2:00 PM.Â
