Goodwell,OK– The Oklahoma Panhandle State University baseball team faced a tough non-conference series against New Mexico Highlands University in Amarillo, Texas, dropping all four games to the Cowboys.
Game One: Aggies Shut Out 14-0
In the series opener, the Aggies struggled to generate any offense against New Mexico Highlands's dominant pitching. The Cowboys put up a commanding 14-run performance, while OPSU was unable to score a run.
Game Two: Late Surge Dooms Aggies in 9-4 Loss
The Aggies showed resilience in game two, jumping out to an early lead, but the Cowboys took control late to secure a 9-4 victory. OPSU struck first in the bottom of the first inning when Ryota Kusumoto's RBI single, aided by a throwing error, allowed Isaiah Halton to score. Devin Lopez followed up with a two-RBI single to give the Aggies a 3-1 lead.
Despite the loss, OPSU's Kobe Morgan had a strong showing, going 4-for-4 at the plate with a double. Starting pitcher Esai Torres (2-1) took the loss after allowing five runs on seven hits through five innings.
Game Three: Aggies Drop 9-3
OPSU again fell behind early and could not recover, ultimately losing 9-3. New Mexico Highlands built a 5-0 lead by the third inning before the Aggies cut the deficit to 5-3 in the bottom of the second. However, the Cowboys' pitching staff shut down OPSU the rest of the way.

Game Four: Aggies drop 1-7
In the series finale,OPSU's lone run came in the sixth inning when Devin Lopez doubled to left center, driving in Kobe Morgan.
Braden Greene took the loss for the Aggies, pitching 4.2 innings while allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits with five strikeouts. Zach Mayhew and Juan Javier combined for 2.1 innings of relief, allowing just one additional run.

The Aggies (7-9) will head to McPherson, KS, to start conference action on February 21. They will face Central Christian in game one at 1:00 PM and game two at 3:00 PM.
