Goodwell, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day, securing a 59-57 overtime victory over the Southwestern Christian University Eagles on Saturday afternoon.
Before tip-off, the Aggies honored their four seniors—Raul Nunez, Kyle Belgrave II, Kaleb Stephens, and Brice Langford.
The Aggies were led by Amaree Brown, who scored 15 points while adding five assists and four rebounds. Mike Carter was perfect from the field, going 7-for-7 to finish with 15 points. Brice Langford contributed nine points and two blocks, while Kensington Grant-Brown provided a spark off the bench with 10 points.
Despite struggling from beyond the arc (3-for-21, 14.3%), OPSU dominated the paint, outscoring the Eagles 38-24 down low. The Aggies also capitalized on a strong second half, shooting 46.7% from the field to overcome a slow start.

With the victory, OPSU now turns its attention to the road, traveling to Siloam Springs, Ark., to take on John Brown University on Thursday, February 13, at 8:00 PM.
