GOODWELL, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University has selected basketball's own Mar'kia Pratt and Mike Carter as the Mack's Motorsports Aggies of the Week from Jan. 12-18.

Pratt had a weekend to remember as she fueled the Aggies to two consecutive conference wins at Anchor D Arena. Pratt had outstanding stat lines on the weekend, beginning with Thursday's performance against Oklahoma City University. In the 78-64 win, Pratt recorded 22 points on 60% shooting, five assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal, featuring her ability to push the floor on the fastbreak and create opportunities for others. Fast forward 44 hours against Southwestern Christian University, the Aggies came back from down 44-37 entering the fourth quarter, fueled by none other than Pratt and her 14 points in the quarter alone that led to a 61-54 win. Pratt's final stat sheet at the end of it read almost identical to Thursday's performance with 21 points on 57% shooting, five assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals. Pratt's standout performances have sparked the Aggies newfound stride, and they look to carry that momentum into three more conference games this week.

Like Pratt, Carter's performances this weekend were nothing short of outstanding. Carter found himself coming off the bench in Thursday night's matchup against the Stars, and he made an immediate impact by recording 18 points, shooting 6-10 from the field and 6-8 from the line to go along with his six rebounds. Showcasing his ability to crash the paint and get to the line, Carter earned the start Saturday and paid off the decision with a huge double-double in the double-overtime thriller. The Aggies recorded a modern NAIA program record of 65 rebounds, almost doubling SCU's total of 33, and Carter alone had a career-high 13 boards. The junior also posted career-bests of 21 points and four blocks to go along with a pair of assists in a gritty performance. Carter suffered a shoulder injury to start the season but has come back and made a huge impact on the floor for his squad, which was on full display last week.
