Box Score 2 Goodwell, Okla.—The Aggies travel to Plainview, Texas Tuesday to take on another Sooner Athletic Conference opponent at Wayland Baptist.
The 4-7 Panhandle team will look to rebound from two road losses last week, taking 3-0 losses to Southwestern Assemblies of God and Texas Wesleyan, both SAC schools. The Aggies found their stride late in the series, taking the TWU Rams to extra points in the third set on Saturday, before falling 26-24; the Rams opened with wins in sets one and two by scores of 25-15 and 25-13. Scores in Friday's match against the Lions were 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.
Up against an 8-4 Pioneers team with two conference wins, the Aggies will need to come out strong against Wayland and maintain that energy throughout the match. Fans unable to make the road trip may follow along online with live stats and video links available at opsuaggies.com on the Volleyball page.
Panhandle State Volleyball will enjoy a ten-day break after Tuesday's contest, and will return to the Oscar Williams Field House for a three-game stint: Sept. 29 vs. Saint Gregory's, Sept. 30 vs. Southwestern Christian and Oct. 3 vs. Northwestern Oklahoma State.
