HOBBS, N.M. - The Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball team dropped a non-conference road bout at the University of the Southwest on Tuesday, falling 3-1. The Aggies (7-13) fell by set scores of 25-11, 16-25, 25-20, 25-18) versus the Mustangs.

Senior
Kendra Butler led OPSU's attack with seven kills in 17 attempts, with two errors, for a .294 hitting percentage. Butler also led the Aggies with four assisted blocks. She also made four digs.

Richelle Carroll,
Sydnee Saunders and
Ruth Ard all mustered three kills each. Carroll and Ard each contributes pair of blocks, as well.

Carroll also had 16 digs.
Hannah Murray led the OPSU back row players with 18 digs to her credit. Â

Katelyn Faulk has 13 assists.

Panhandle State will be at home this weekend for a par of Sooner Athletic Conference contests. OPSU hosts Langston on Friday (Oct. 18/7 p.m.) and Central Christian College on Saturday (Oct. 19/1 p.m.). Friday will be the team's "Volleyboo Spooktacular", with prizes for the best costume (open to all ages) and Saturday the annual "Pink Out" cancer awareness game.
