OKLAHOMA CITY — Panhandle State women's basketball junior Addison Munsch earned an All-Sooner Athletic Conference nod as she was selected to third team as the All-Conference selections were announced on Thursday (Feb. 28).

The junior from Boise City, Okla. capped off her stellar season ranking in the top 20 across six categories and posting a stellar-points game against conference foe Langston, hauling in a season-high 31 in their contest on Dec. 13. She finished in the eight-spot in overall scoring, responsible for 445 total points, landing her in seventh in scoring per game, averaging 15.34. Starting all 29 games this season, Munsch was able to end her junior year by eclipsing 1,000 career points. Out of the 29 games, 22 account for 10+ at the boards for Munsch and seven exhibited 20+ point performances.

Munsch ranks fifth in field goal percentage (.485) just 1/1000th of a point difference behind Science & Arts (Okla.) Reyna Ammons. She also came in 13th in free-throw percentage (.653) seventh in total rebounds (198) as well as average rebounds per game (6.83) and sixth in double-doubles with five total on the season.

Leading the Lady Aggies to their first post-season appearance since the 2006 term, Head Coach Victor Esparza doted proudly on the junior guard. "Addison is very well deserving of this honor, she has been great for us all year," expounded Esparza. "I am so proud of the leader she has become and how she has grown every year," he added. "She has proven through the year that she is one of the best players in the league. I can't wait to see what her senior year has in store for her."

Also a SAC Scholar Athlete, the Biology major finishes her year with a 3.875 GPA, sporting high marks on and off the court.

The Aggies finished the 2018-19 regular season at 14-15 and landed in eighth in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings at 10-12. The women's team faced Oklahoma City in the SAC quarterfinals on Tuesday (Feb. 26) and ultimately fell to the Stars 45-78, but the Aggies walked away with the Panhandle reverence of having competed in post-season play for the first time in thirteen years.
