Goodwell, Okla. - The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Rodeo team is set to travel to Garden City, Kan. for its seventh rodeo of the season, April 5-7, 2019. Slack is scheduled to kick off Friday morning inside the Garden City Community College Broncbuster Horse Palace at 9 a.m., with performances Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., as well. The short round is set for Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Athletes from 25 Kansas and Oklahoma two and four-year colleges will be competing. 2019 will be the 52nd rendition for this annual Garden City C.C. event.

Notes:
*This is the last indoor rodeo of the season for Panhandle State. All three of the final regular season scheduled events – Southwestern Oklahoma State, Fort Hays State and OPSU's own Doc Gardner Memorial Rodeo – will be outdoors.

*The Aggies' women's team is currently sitting first in the Central Plains Region standings of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA).

*The men are currently second in the NIRA Central Plains Region standings.
