GOODWELL, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball team will play a Tuesday (Sept. 3/6p.m.) non-conference match at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, before getting into Sooner Athletic Conference action this weekend by hosting University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Friday (Sept. 6/6 p.m.) and Mid-America Christian University on Saturday (Sept. 7/1 p.m.).
The Aggies (2-4) are coming off of a split of games at its own OPSU Tri-Match last Friday. Panhandles lost to University of the Southwest (3-0) but bounced back to dominate Sterling College (3-1).

*SCOUTING OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN: The Eagles are 2-3 on the year and coming off of a win over Cottey College (3-1) last Wednesday.
*SCOUTING USAO: The Drovers will have a 0-1 record when they roll into Goodwell on Friday, losing to Randall University, 0-3, in its only match of the season last Thursday.
*SCOUTING MACU: The Evangels are currently 2-2 overall and have a par of matches on Friday prior to Saturday's date in Goodwell. MACU will play a non-conference match versus Our Lady of the Lake University and then take on Wayland Baptist in its SAC opener on Friday in Plainview, Texas. MACU's Hannah Focker set a school match record with 27 kills in a five-game loss to Huston-Tillotson last week.
*SAC PRE-SEASON POLL: The Sooner Athletic Conference's pre-season poll had the Aggies ranked No. 8 in the conference.
*STERLING VERSUS STERLING: Senior
Kendra Butler had a great match against Sterling, registering match-leading totals in kills (14…a season high), attack average (.346) and blocks (3).
*DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Keely Johnston had a double-double of 15 assists and 11 digs against Sterling.
*HELPING HAND: Deagan Dingman had double-digit assist totals in both matches on Friday, with 11 versus USW and 20 against Sterling. Dingman has had double-figure assist totals in all six matches thus far, with a high of 44 versus Avila.
*DIGGIN' SAUNDERS EFFORT: Freshman
Sydnee Saunders had a match-high 19 digs in the win over Sterling. It was her season-best total, also reaching double-digit digs versus Avila (16) and Tabor (17).
