OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – For the second time this season, Oklahoma Panhandle State University senior forward Cassia McCaskill (Townsville, Australia) has been named as the Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball "Player of the Week" award winner. The award covers the week of February 1-7, while she also brought home the honor the period of January 11-17.
 
McCaskill helped the Aggies extend their current win streak to three games with two victories last week. . On the week she averaged 28.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. She shot better than 47 percent from the field, 47 percent from three-point range, as well as connecting on nearly 94 percent from the free throw stripe.
 
 In OPSU's 54-47 win over Texas Wesleyan University last Thursday, McCaskill had 18 points, four rebounds and three steals versus the Lady Rams.
 
McCaskill followed that up with a career-high 38 points versus Southwestern Assemblies of God University, hitting 11-of-18 from the field - 5-for-8 from beyond the arc – and 11-of-12 free throws. She also grabbed eight rebounds and dished off three assists against the Lions.
 
McCaskill, currently, leads the SAC in scoring, is No. 5 in free throw percentage and No. 3 in three-point field goals made per game.  She extended her string of double-digit scoring games to four and eight out of nine contests, overall.
