GOODWELL, Okla. – The Aggies men's and women's soccer teams will resume a traditional competition schedule this fall following a 2021 spring season.
The Men's soccer team will include 6 home games, including contest against defending SAC Conference champion MACU, and runner-up Central Christian. And, the Women's soccer team will include 9 home games at Carl Wooten Field. Head coach
Brandon Misuraca shared, "we have a very competitive schedule this year, where we see ourselves matching up against one opponent from both the Red River and A.I.I. and four from the KCAC Conference."
Misuraca will lead the Aggie men's soccer team into the 3
rd season, after a 4-8-4 spring finish. "I am very excited to get going this fall," stated Misuraca, "going into year 3, we are a very talented group of men, with a team full of upperclassmen, and an accomplished incoming recruiting class." The men's soccer team will return All-Sooner Athletic Conference post-season honor roll, freshman Hugo Dutor and Senior
Tayze Ellington.
The women's soccer team under the new direction of head coach
Josh Davis, will also return to a regular fall 2021 season after a rebuilding spring season. The Aggies first home game is August 14
th, at 4pm on Carl Wooten Field against Garden City.
Davis shared, "we are very excited about the upcoming season. It will be great to play at home as many times as we do. We are looking for a very exciting year of Aggie Futbol!" Not only will the Aggies be playing at home this season more than past, but they will also be competing against SAC conference champions John Brown University.
