Box Score SILOAM SPRINGS, AR. - The Oklahoma Panhandle State women's basketball team would end their season against the John Brown University Golden Eagles in the first round of the SAC Conference Tournament. The Aggies are sent into the offseason off a 53-65 final score.

Only two Aggies would reach double-digits against the Golden Eagles. Alie Parkhurst would score fourteen and Alie Parkhurst would score eleven. Due to early foul trouble, the Aggies had to rely more on their supporting cast than their starting five.

In their season finale, the Aggies did not go down without a fight. Coming into the game knowing they would need to limit the offensive capabilities of Golden Eagles' Tarrah Stephens, who went for forty-five points her last time in Anchor D Arena. A meeting that would see the Golden Eagles escape Goodwell with a five-point overtime win. A hard-fought battle for the Aggies that they would have to bring the next time around.

Minimizing the impact of Stephens was the game plan for the Aggies coming into the night. Holding her to single digits in the first two-quarters of the game. Two quarters that were extremely successful for the Aggies on the boards. Out rebounding the Golden Eagles 27 to 16. The half saw the majority of the Aggie shots come from beyond the arc as they would stay within four of the Golden Eagles. Parkhurst would highlight the half for the Aggies totaling eleven points with three three-pointers. Shots that would ignite the Aggie offense in the half.

Going into the second half the Aggies would have to work around foul trouble to get back into the game. Relying on the efforts of Briana Marquez coming in for senior Tateum Jones who had three fouls. A rallying third quarter for the Aggies saw Marquez knock down some deep threes to shorten the Golden Eagles' lead to four. Morgan Williamson's efforts on the board also poised the Aggies to make a late run.

The Aggie offense would lag behind the defense going into the fourth quarter. A defense that would create numerous extra possessions off of turnovers, steals, and rebounds. However, the offense would be unable to capitalize on those possessions. The Golden Eagles would however begin to find their offense late in the game and continually widen their lead. The Aggies would be unable to overcome the late push from the Golden Eagles and fall 53-65 in the first round of the conference tournament.
