Oklahoma City – After claiming their fourth consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer championship last season, Mid-America Christian garnered the top spot in the 2024 SAC men's soccer preseason poll as voted on by the conference head coaches.
 
The Evangels picked up 80 points in the voting and claimed all but one first-place vote as they completed the 2023 season with an overall record of 17-0-3 and a league-best mark of 8-0-1 in the regular season. The Evangels earned the conference's automatic berth into the NAIA Tournament before falling in the first round.
 
Science & Arts grabbed the second position on the preseason list with 66 points after finishing the 2023 season with an overall record of 9-8-4 with a league mark of 4-4-1 before falling to Mid-America Christian in the conference title match 3-1.
 
John Brown earned the third spot in the voting with 65 points and grabbed the only other first-place vote by the coaches. The Golden Eagles wrapped up last season with an overall record of 11-6 and a league mark of 8-1.
 
Oklahoma City garnered the fourth slot on the list with 52 points while Southwestern Christian rounds out the top five with 50 points.

The 2024 season will begin on Thursday, August 29 as Panhandle State travels to Hobbs, NM to the University of the Southwest at 3:30pm.
