Head Coach Charles Belt stated "This year's schedule is unique. With our conference adding a 13th team and playing everyone home & away, we have a 24 conference games schedule. This means the weight of the season will strictly be determined by how we do in Sooner play. The challenge this year is we open SAC play with 3 teams that made the conference tournament, two of those 3 made the NAIA national tournament!"
"With that being said I wanted to make sure we played a non conference slate against different styles of play to help us get ready for what we could see offensively & defensively in the SAC. We then also secured a game against West Texas A&M who's been a top 10 program in NCAA D2 for years. When you combine the styles we will see, the talent, and a couple road games to open. We believe it will put us in position to be ready for our home conference opener November 14th Vs Central Christian!
