OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Panhandle State University's Christian Campbell totaled 61 points across two games from Jan. 19-25 en route to being named the Sooner Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced Monday.

Campbell began his week strong at Wayland Baptist on Jan. 19, scoring 28 points while notching six rebounds (three offensive) and two assists.

He followed that performance Thursday versus No. 7 Langston by scoring a season-high 33 points on just 15 field goal attempts, buoyed by his 4-of-5 accuracy from three-point range and perfect 11-for-11 performance from the free-throw line. Impressively, the effort inside Anchor D Arena came against the NAIA's No. 1-rated scoring defense that allows just 60.1 points per game.

Across the two games, Campbell averaged 30.5 points, including eight made triples while putting up 51.3/53.3/100.0 percent shooting splits. The junior from Miami, Florida, added 5.5 rebounds per night and committed only four turnovers in 70 minutes of action.

Campbell's weekly award is the second for men's basketball and the 16th for OPSU Athletics in the 2025-26 year. The guard is averaging 19.9 points per game this season, good for fourth best in the SAC and 33rd most in the nation. Campbell is also tied-24th in the NAIA with 56 three-pointers made.

Panhandle State takes to the road for a pair of games this week, beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at No. 17 Nelson.
