PLAINVIEW, Texas – A depleted Oklahoma Panhandle State University lineup absorbed a 10-0 loss at Wayland Baptist University in its first-ever conference match in program history. The Aggies fell to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, while the Pioneers improved to 4-1-1 and 1-0 in SAC play.

OPSU goalkeeper Bre Taylor had a total of 17 saves in the match, 11 in the first half alone. With just eight other players on the field due to injuries, Taylor was peppered for all 10 goals.

The Pioneers led 8-0 at half and never looked back. The Aggies did not manage a shot versus the Pioneer defense, while WBU took 27 shots.

Panhandle State will be off until Saturday, September 28, when it travels to Randall University in Moore, Okla., for a non-conference match.
