Box Score GOODWELL, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Women's Soccer team hosted Central Christian College (Kan) Lions tonight at Anchor D. Stadium. It was senior night for the Aggies. Lions won the game 4-0 against the Aggies.
Head Coach
Josh Davis shared "I would like to say a big thank you do you Athletic Director
Victor Esparza and Vice President Dr. Blanton for helping out with our senior night tonight." The Aggies honored three seniors tonight,
Jackie Gonzalez,
Ariana Ramirez and, Emily Elliot.
The Lions defense proved to be too much for the Aggies, holding the Aggies to 5 shots in comparison to their 13.
Kelsey Vickrey able to get 3 shots off,
Rebecca Herriotts and Elliot had one each. Thou, the Aggies showed great fight and continued to work throughout the game. Aggies were able to hold the Lions to just one goal in the second half compared to the first half where the lions scored three goals.
Davis stated "Central Christian College got the best of us tonight. We have seemed to have lost our way and we need to find a way back to working for one another. It was definitely not our best game of the year but hopefully we can learn from it, grow and be ready for our next competition."
Next up for the Aggies is to head to Bethany, Kansas to take on Southwestern Christian University on Saturday, Oct. 16
th at 1 pm.
