GOODWELL, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma Panhandle State women's soccer team faced off against the Texas Wesleyan Rams that would end in a 1-0 defeat.
In a game that lacked much offense, what was highlighted in the match was the perseverance of both teams. As the first half of the match consisted of only a single shot coming from a Texas Wesleyan player. As the first half drew to a close the Aggies and Head Coach
Josh Davis took to the drawing board to find a way to get some shots off on the Rams Goalie.
The Aggies would come out the gate for the second half firing. As junior forward
Kelsey Vickrey would scorch one to the right side of the goal only to be saved by the Rams goalie. Both teams would battle for possession until the 72nd minute in which the Texas Wesleyan Rams would find the back of the net of Sophomore
Mya Szymanski. A goal in which the Aggies never answered.
The Aggies finish their regular season next week as they face Mid-America Christian University and Wayland Baptist University.
