GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma Panhandle State University football has announced that it has filled the previously-open March 27 home date on its schedule, with NAIA No. 18-ranked Dordt University. The Defenders (7-2) are from Sioux Center, Iowa, and will be visiting Anchor D Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The game will also be Senior Day for the Panhandle State players. The void in the OPSU schedule was created a week ago when Texas Wesleyan opted out of football for the balance of the current season.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Aggies and the Defenders, as well. Dordt began its football program in 2008.

"We are appreciative of everyone's efforts to not just get a game, but get a quality opponent on the schedule to fill the void," OPSU Interim Director of Athletics Victor Esparza said. "We look forward to Dordt coming to Goodwell and are glad we could also help them replace a game on their schedule. We hope Aggie Nation takes the opportunity to come out and watch what is sure to be an exciting game. Likewise, join us in paying tribute to our football seniors."

Tickets will be available on-line at: www.opsuaggies.com/tickets and look for the game link.
