Aggie Women's Soccer Halted by Falcons

Box Score GOODWELL, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Women's Soccer team hosted University of Texas Permian Basin Falcons at Carl Wooten Field this afternoon. This non-conference play is one of the few games the Aggies play throughout the Sooner Athletic Conference play.
 
The Aggies fought hard against the Falcons, battling for field position and possession of the ball. However, with a breakaway to the goal the Falcons were able to put the ball in the back of the net. The Falcons were able to score 3 goals prior to the end of the first half. The second half, the Aggies pressed the Falcons, but the Falcons were unstoppable. The Falcons score two more goals by the end of the game. The Falcons outshot the Aggies 19-1 and 9 shots on goal to 1 against the Aggies.  
 
Key performers for the Aggies were Sophomore forward, Dajah Boykin who assisted in ball field placement and movement. Junior forward, Kelsey Vickrey who provided the Aggies with the 1 shot on goal. And Senior goalie Jackie Gonzales who faced 9 shots on goal and able to save 4.
 
The Aggies will take the pitch on Thursday, September 23rd at Noon at Bacone College, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
