Box Score MUSKOGEE, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State Women's Soccer team took on Bacone College, this afternoon, at Hatbox field. It was the great field control, ball placement and movement on the field that led the Aggies to a high scoring game 15 to 1. The Aggies out shot Bacone 17 to 1 in the 1
st half, and 11 to 1 in the second half.
The Aggie offense was on fire;
Kelsey Vickrey led the Aggies to their first goal off a penalty kick. Shortly following, a second goal for the Aggies by
Ariana Ramirez, assist by
Dajah Boykin. The Aggies able to score 9 goals in the first half of the game, and 6 goals in the second half.
Lead scores for the Aggies are Boykin with 5 goals and 1 assist.
Mya Szymanski had 3 goals and
Faith Cook with 2 goals for the Aggies.
Sydnee Harrison,
Kelsey Vickrey, Emily Elliot and Ramirez each had a goal. Lead assists for the Aggies are
Riley Morris with 3, and
Regan Ake and Vickrey each with a pair of assists as well.
The Aggies were not only able to dominate the scoring; the Aggies showcased great speed, movement on the field but also allow each goalie quality time in the box and on the field. Szymanski played the first 45 minutes for the Aggies and had two great saves on goal. The second half Jackie Gonzales had one save and was scored on once by Bacone.
The win over Bacone for the Aggies moves them 3-5-0 on the season and Bacone 0-7-0. The 15 goals for the Aggies beats the teams all-time scoring record. In addition, the win has improved the Aggie's past season record. The Aggies have now completed their preseason and will move onto the Sooner Athletic Conference play.

Josh Davis shared "it was a great day for the Aggies. The hardwork, dedication and grit each of my athletes have shown day in and day out allowed for a game like today to happen. I am very proud of each of my athletes. This win provided us (the Aggies) an opportunity to grow and learn as a team; as well as prepare us for the SAC season."
The Aggies next game will be on Tuesday, September 28
th at Carl Wooten Field, Goodwell, Oklahoma at 5 pm.
