After the meet head coach Cyrus Hall mentioned "Great day today despite the cold, dreary weather. We lucked out and the wind was surprisingly light for West Texas standards.
We are without quite a few kids because of nagging injuries, but the kids that did compete were great today. Lots of PR's. Our men's sprinters (Bruington, Granillo, Neal) were awesome!

So we're our 800m guys (Perez, Vallejo). Thought the women were solid. They are getting closer to where they need to be. Just not quite there yet. But I think they are ready to see some great performances soon. Kamron Neal ran a huge personal best in the 200m for a school record. He qualified for Nationals on an A standard. As of this writing, he's ranked 3rd in the NAIA in the 200m".

Upcoming Event:
Next, the team will head to Pueblo, CO, to compete in the Spank Blasing Invitational hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo on March 22-23.
