Cyrus Hall commented on the day,"Lots of weather delays today. So it was kind of a long, boring day.
Overall, Day 1 of SAC went about how I expected it. Our men scored in every event we competed in. We even got some bonus points from Dillon Bruington in Triple Jump. His first time jumping all year and he secured 5th place. I'm pretty sure he broke the school record as well.
The men are currently in 3rd place, heading to day #2. We will have the opportunity to score a lot of points tomorrow. We are hoping for a top 3 finish. So, I know the guys are excited to get after that.
The weather forced all the sprints events to Saturday. So, the women have yet to compete. But I know the ladies are looking forward to getting it going tomorrow."
After the first day of competition, The Aggies, stand in third place in the men's team rankings with a total of 9 points.
