GOODWELL, Okla. — In conjunction with Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Aggie Athletics is set to celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, with the festivities capped by OPSU football welcoming Louisiana Christian to Anchor D Stadium at 6 p.m.

8:30 AM: Homecoming Festivities Begin
Following the coronation of OPSU's Homecoming King and Queen after the Aggies' volleyball match on Friday night, the Saturday festivities on campus start with the Alumni Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the OPSU Student Union.

At 12 noon, the Alumni Homecoming and Honored Family Lunch will also be held in the OPSU Student Union, where the Cluck Family's story will be celebrated.

OPSU volleyball hosts Nelson at 1 p.m. inside Anchor D Arena, which is set to be followed by the Homecoming Parade on Aggie Avenue at 3 p.m.

The full schedule of Homecoming events can be found here.

6 PM: Homecoming Football Game versus Louisiana Christian
OPSU (1-2, 0-1 SAC) kicks off its Homecoming showdown presented by Seaboard Foods at 6 p.m. versus LCU (2-2, 2-0 SAC). Tickets can be purchased at opsuaggies.com/tickets, and a free live stream is available on both the Urban Edge Network and SAC Network.

In addition to reserved tailgating open at 3:30 p.m., OPSU has added a Fan Zone for the 2025 season, located just outside the northwest endzone. The Fan Zone opens 30 minutes before kickoff.

Series History: The two teams have split the all-time series since 2021, with both teams boasting two wins to their names. OPSU defeated LCU on the road 48-40 last season, as it looks to become the first team to notch consecutive victories in the series.

Aggies Game Notes: The three-game gauntlet Panhandle State went through to open the season is complete, with its previous opponents (RV Peru State, East Texas Baptist and No. 16 OUAZ) having combined for a 9-1 record thus far. The only loss among those squads, of course, came at the hands of OPSU when the Aggies defeated Peru State 10-9 in the season opener. OPSU must be hungry for wins now to avoid a 1-3 start to the season.

OPSU's offensive line is coming off its best performance of the season last week versus the Spirit, when the Aggies more than doubled their season rushing output and the passing game surrendered just one sack.

Defensively, Panhandle State has limited opponents to under a 50% completion percentage, aided by the pressure of Nate Orta (five tackles-for-loss, two sacks) and the defensive-back play of Charles Holmes III (five pass break-ups) and Loren Snead (22 tackles, one interception).

Wildcats Game Notes: The Wildcats rank among the top three SAC teams in points per game, passing yards, rushing yards and red-zone efficiency. Quarterback Bryce Perkins tops the SAC in passing yards per game, while receiver EJ Scott has 23 catches for 367 yards.

LCU's defense has struggled to stop opponents' passing games, allowing an eye-pooping 289 pass yards per contest. That number has been offset by the Wildcats generating four defensive interceptions.
