Paizlie Reyna-Mata set a personal record in the 800-meters with a mark of 26.58 seconds to take fifth of eight runners. Behind Reyna-Mata were
Breyanna Kemp and Perez, bunching up under 27.00 seconds to take sixth and seventh, respectively.
Â
Neo Trim participated in the triple jump for the first time, notching a top mark of 9.38 meters. Â
Â
Coach Hall's Thoughts: "I'm pretty happy with how today went. The women are bummed out, we didn't have anybody qualify for Nationals this year, indoors. Some of that's the training, I changed the training this year. I'm trying to do some different things with them to hopefully get a bigger pop outdoors."
Â
"We ran pretty well today, I think we're getting really close to being where we want to be, so I wouldn't be surprised if first outdoor meet, second outdoor meet, we start to look really good. And we looked good today."
Â
What's up next: The Aggies are scheduled to begin their outdoor campaign on March 12 in Coffeyville, Kansas.
