Aggies Shooting Sports Conclude Fall Season with Strong Performances

Goodwell, OK — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Shooting Sports team wrapped its fall season with a standout performance marked by individual accomplishments and a memorable milestone for a senior Aggie. Competing in a highly anticipated event, the team brought home exceptional scores and celebrated the growth and achievements of its talented shooters.

Emily Robertson led the Aggies to first place in the Female Trap category. Her consistent precision and focus set her apart in a competitive field, showcasing the dedication and skill she brings to every event.

Destry Roye, a senior completing his collegiate shooting career, scored an impressive 97 out of 100 in skeet. Roye's excellent marksmanship has been a defining element throughout his time with OPSU, and his final performance capped off a career marked by dedication and high achievement.

Additionally, Zach Willis recorded a memorable first, shooting 25 straight in Trap, a significant accomplishment for any shooter and an essential milestone in his OPSU career. Willis's performance contributed to the team's success and highlighted his dedication and hard work in his sport.

The Aggies Shooting Sports team will now take a brief pause before resuming training for the spring season. They look forward to building on this fall's successes and continuing to make an impact in collegiate shooting sports.
